Double Hand stitched in seams.

Outer large pieces were machine stitched corner to corner for extra strength.

Binding is machine set and top-stitched with fancy stitches. It has creme backing. 100% cotton.

The quilts here on The Quilting Nut are hand quilted by me with the old fashioned quilting techniques . They are not machine quilted. The only part of the quilt sewn on a machine is putting the pieces together and adding the binding, which gives your quilt extra strength in the seams. On occasion you may see a quilt that has some machine top stitch added to it for extra decoration but the quilt will still be finished with hand quilting. I spend many days on one quilt and it can sometimes take months working on just one quilt. All my quilts are made with much love and patients and free shipping. :-)
